John Pollock built a boat out of wine corks collected throughout his lifetime.

Goldstein and Pollack came up with the fundamental design for the boat, which they wanted to resemble a Viking ship. "If you think about any design project, in a lot of ways it comes down to coming up with sort of a basic unit ... almost like a molecular structure for the boat," said Goldstein.
