A Real-Life High School Musical

Allison Wruk Before I found theatre I only knew that I liked comedy, but I never realized that there was actually a big great place to channel humor until I found out what theatre was. I began theatre in middle school; I never made it into any shows. Then I went to high school ... and nothing changed, but I was able to explore technical theatre and my real passion, improv. By my junior year I finally did have some success and I was finally cast in shows. Although I am not going on to major in theatre or performing in college, I will always try to be a part of it because it's a part of me. (Courtesy Allison Wruk)
