Faylene Grant's daughter, Jenna Stradling, pictured here, believes Doug Grant killed her mother, Faylene Grant.

On Sept. 27, 2001, Doug Grant made an urgent phone call to his friend, physician assistant Chad White, telling White that his wife, Faylene Grant, was drowning in a bathtub and asking for help. Faylene Grant's heart stopped after she was rushed to a nearby hospital. Her death prompted a seven-year investigation that uncovered an unusual relationship involving Faylene Grant and Doug Grant's former girlfriend, Hilary Dewitt. (Glenna Eaves)
