Christopher was active growing up. His mother, who describes him as a very careful child, wasn't anxious about his safety. He "never showed any fear in anything, so I didn't have to really reinforce that," Teresa Wall said. "I just brought Christopher up saying that there are so many things out there to do, we don't have time to be sick. We don't have time to worry ... there are so many more fun things to do."
