News, This Could Be Big isn't just about cool gadgets – our goal is to shine a light on some of the greatest thinkers, tinkers, scientists, and businesses that could quite literally change our world.
We have presented for your consideration just one example of This Could Be Big – "Lithium-Powered TRON Light-Cycle" – to show the essence of our entertaining yet informative approach.
Yes, it's a cool ride -- a TRON light-cycle come to life -- but most importantly, this product features clean, sustainable, and cheap batteries. It's a quantum leap for our culture's energy-addicted consumption: a sustainable technology at a marketable price.
Our goal is to introduce complex and critical topics through an appealing lens. This is, in essence, an episode about energy cleverly hidden in an engaging wrapper.
From October to December of 2011, Bill Weir and his digital team explored:
