Here a human dissector works on a body made to look like it was frozen after shooting an arrow with its bow.
Like many of the bodies in his exhibits, von Hagens bent this body in this position to show how muscles move and flex in motion.
According to von Hagens, "Dissection and Plastination of an entire body requires 1,500 working hours and normally takes about a year to complete."
