Human Bodies on Display: Where Do They Come From?
Some bodies on display at von Hagens' "Body Worlds" exhibit are much more involved than others. For example, at left several wires hold this body in place on a bicycle.
According to von Hagens' Web site, "Every single anatomical structure is properly aligned and fixed with the help of wires, needles, clamps and foam blocks."
