In Sept. 2005, ABC News found Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia playing tennis at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Bachelor Gulch, CO, the same day Chief Justice John Roberts was being sworn in. His three-day trip to a legal seminar sponsored by the Federalist Society was paid for by the conservative activist group. Members of the Federalist Society include lawyers who argue before the Supreme Court. (ABC News)
