After Hamas operative Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was found dead in a Dubai hotel in January, the Israeli spy agency Mossad was quickly blamed for his assassination. On Monday, Interpol announced it would join an international task force investigating the murder. While the tale of an Israeli hit squad swooping into an Arab country to kill a Palestinian militant commander has spurred outrage in many parts of the world, in Israel it has sparked pride – and t-shirt sales. Since the news of the alleged hit, said Shavar Geva of Israel-Catalog.com, which sells t-shirts and other merchandise, this basic black "Don't Mess with the Mossad" t-shirt has been his best seller. "Before the Mossad operation," said Geva, "no one was really interested in these t-shirts, but now everyone wants one." (Tal-Shahar Ltd)
