Home Is Where the Money Is: Aaron Spelling mansion

Home Is Where the Money Is

In this Sept. 1993 file photo, the home of Aaron and Candy Spelling is seen in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles. Candy Spelling is placing the 56,000 square-foot house on the market for $150 million, making it the most expensive home for sale in the U.S. When Candy and her late husband Aaron Spelling were building their Bel Air, Calif., mansion, she says she didn't understand just how big it would be.

"This house started getting bigger and bigger," she said. "Nobody said, 'Well, look how much square footage you're building.'"
