Last time we asked you to send in the best pranks you've witnessed at work. Below are our favorite responses.
"A co-worker complained his computer keyboard was CLICKING whenever he hit a key. I remotely connected to his computer and disabled the sound. Before I could tell him, he asked me how to stop the sound. I "dipped" a pen in its cap for dramatic effect and 'sprinkled' the pen over the keyboard. I finished with a blessing, inviting him to type."
"Our manager went into a two-hour meeting. We removed his office door and door frame, sheet-rocked and plastered over the hole, painted, and put a potted plant in front of the spot where the door used to be. It was as if the door was never there."
"I was gone from work for almost an entire month. When I returned people said 'Congratulations!' and 'You look GREAT!' I was confused. When I got to my cube, it had been decked out in baby shower decorations with 'It's A Boy' strung across the entrance. I hadn't been pregnant, but apparently my colleagues got tired of explaining where I was."
"Pranks are culturally biased; what you think is funny may be offensive to others. Pranks tend toward horseplay, and horseplay gets people hurt. I cannot believe you considered this question a responsible use of your forum."
