November Unemployment Rate Falls to 8.6 Percent

The unemployment rate fell in November to 8.6 percent as the economy added 120,000 new non-farm jobs, the U.S. Labor Department reported Friday. It's the biggest drop in the jobless rate since the economic downturn began and the first time the rate has dropped below 9 percent since March 2009.
