A piece of the backdrop from The Ed Sullivan Show that is signed by the Beatles is for sale by Heritage Auctions on April 26, 2014. The band, right, performed for the first time on the show on Feb. 9, 1964, their first live appearance on American television. Adorned with individual drawings from each member of the band that day, the 48-inch long fiberglass or plastic includes a signature by Paul McCartney as “Uncle Paul McCartney." The auction house calls it a true “Holy Grail” of Beatles memorabilia.
