Playboy Covers Through the Years

Playboy hit newsstands in December 1953. The first issue featured Marilyn Monroe on the cover and despite founder Hugh Hefner's initial doubts, the rest is history. The magazine has since spread around the world and cleared the way for countless other publications. (AP Photo)
