About 100 of items related to historical legends including Western sharpshooter, Annie Oakley, were auctioned in Dallas on June 10, 2012 through Heritage Auctions. Oakley starred in the touring stage show, "Buffalo Bill's Wild West." This profile shot of Oakley in the dark wig she wore for the play, "The Western Girl," was taken in New York between 1902 and 1904. This photo sold for $6,005. (Heritage Auctions)
