This 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta "Competizione" sold for 9,856,000 euros or $12,812,800, including buyer's premium, in an auction hosted by RM Auctions at Lake Como, Italy, on May 25, 2013. It has been driven by three world champions (Mike Hawthorn, Alberto Ascari and Giuseppe "Nino" Farina) and was one of three 375 MM cars at the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
