Champ d'Or, which is French for 'field of gold' and cost $46 million to build in Hickory Creek, Texas, is up for auction on March 30, 2012. Called the "Versailles of Texas" by at least one reporter, the property is 15 minutes outside of Dallas. The auction calls for a reserve of $10.3 million but the home is expected to fetch much more.
