A man spent $27,000 on a limited edition bottle of Glenfiddich Scotch whisky at a liquor store in Portland, Ore. on Jan. 4, becoming one of six people in the country to own the 50-year-old bottle, of which 50 are produced each year. Local TV station KPTV reported that Lyle Shellenberg's ties to Glenfiddich go back 40 years, when he toured the Scottish distillery with his grandfather.
