Is There an Energy Crisis?

N E W   Y O R K, April 23 -- From all the talk about an energy crisis, you'd think it's time to start hoarding cans of gas and candles. But is there really a crisis? Most experts don't think so.

That's not the official line from the White House, however. Since taking office in January, President Bush has repeatedly said the United States is in the midst of an "energy crisis."
