Apparel maker Perry Ellis International Inc. said Thursday it inked a five-year licensing deal with S.A.R.L. de Gestion Pierre Cardin to find materials for, sell and distribute the Pierre Cardin brand for men's sportswear.
The deal does not include woven shirts. It includes the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Terms were not disclosed.
The agreement is set to start in 2010. Perry Ellis International will distribute the brand in department stores starting next January.
