Fushi Copperweld Appoints New CFO

Wire manufacturer Fushi Copperweld Inc. on Tuesday named a new chief financial officer.

Beihong Zhang takes over the position immediately from Wenbing Wang, the company's president. Zhang comes to Fushi Copperweld after holding the same position at Marco Consulting Group in Chicago.

Wang will continue to hold his position as president and a member of the company's board of directors. Zhang will also be an executive vice president.

Fushi Copperweld makes wire used for telecommunications, utilities, transportation and industrial applications.

Company shares fell 29 cents, or 3.7 percent, to close at $7.52 Tuesday.
