Lockheed Martin gets $6.8 million Navy deal to buy parts for 2 P-3C Orion aircraft

Lockheed Martin Corp. received a $6.8 million contract boost from the Navy to buy parts for two P-3C Orion, a maritime patrol, reconnaissance aircraft, the Pentagon said late Wednesday.

Work will be performed in Greenville, S.C., and is expected to be completed by June 2010.

Shares of the Bethesda, Md.-based company added $1.05 to close at $75.15.
