— -- Ryan Murphy has used his star power for good.

In the days after the deadly shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, the "Glee" creator teamed up with the Human Rights Campaign to pay tribute to the 49 victims.

For the project, Murphy enlisted the help of 49 celebrities, each of whom delivered a eulogy in an 18-minute video that was posted online today.

"We want to ensure that what we do is effective," HRC president Chad Griffin told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's on all of us to know each and every one of them by name and for their legacies to, in part, spur change on important issues."

Lady Gaga, Connie Britton and Kerry Washington are three of the actresses who lent their star power to the project. For Florida native Angela Bassett, who also participated in the video, the cause was personal.

"I grew up in St. Petersburg, so it felt like this happened in my backyard," Bassett said. "It's horrible we have to do this, but it's an honor."

Toward the end of the video, the actress demanded change. “Join me and the HRC to demand common sense laws to protect the LGBTQ community and all Americans from hate violence," Bassett added.
