Miley Cyrus Grows Up in the Spotlight

The photographs taken for Vanity Fair magazine hit headlines following a series of provocative personal photos that surfaced the week prior on the Internet. In one of the photos, Cyrus bares her midriff while cuddling a boy, and in another she exposes a lime-green bra. In her statement April 27, 2008, Cyrus said: "The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots.
