Growing Pains: Where Are They Now?

Joanna Kerns played Maggie Seaver, the conflicted working mother, on "Growing Pains." Maggie joined the workforce as a journalist, leaving her husband, played by Alan Thicke, to juggle work and taking care of their three children. Since the show, the 55-year-old Kerns has starred in numerous television movies, and has taken on a role behind the camera, directing episodes of "Dawson's Creek," "Scrubs" and "Grey's Anatomy." Kerns also played the mother of actress Katherine Heigl 's character in the 2007 film "Knocked Up." The actress married producer Richard Kerns in 1976. The couple had a daughter named Ashley before divorcing in 1984. Kerns is currently married to Marc Appleton, whom she had dated since early 1991. (ABC/Getty Images)
