August 10, 2011 — -- intro: On "Karaoke Battle USA," ordinary people are vying to skyrocket to stardom on the strength of their karaoke chops. But not everyone who takes the mic at a karaoke bar to do their best rendition of "Sweet Caroline" is looking to become the next big thing-- some of them already are. Here are the top five most memorable celebrity karaoke performances:

quicklist: 1.title: Jewelurl: 11170523text: The country star donned a disguise and wowed a crowd by singing one of her own songs. Though her face was unrecognizable, her voice certainly wasn't. At the end, she revealed her identity much to the delight of the audience.

quicklist: 2.title: Jude Lawtext: Last year, video of the "Sherlock Holmes" actor belting out "Johnny B. Goode" at a bar in Carlsbad, England, surfaced online. Not only did the crowd squeal over the celeb guest appearance they helped him out with the chorus.

quicklist: 3.title: Bill Murraytext: Though his karaoke performance in "Lost in Translation" was memorable, it wasn't nearly as memorable as the one he put on at Karaoke One 7 in New York City. When someone noticed Murray at the bar, they invited him to their private room. Much to their surprise, he not only obliged but treated them to drinks and his rendition of an Elvis song.

quicklist: 4.title: Kelly Clarksontext: No one would question if the original "American Idol" champ can sing, but belting out the Guns 'N' Roses' classic "Sweet Child of Mine" at a crowded bar can be tricky. Still, her performance was top notch. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the other singers in her group.

quicklist: 5title: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomeztext: The teen power couple took the stage to do a rendition of Sheryl Crowe and Kid Rock's "Picture." While the performance wasn't pitch perfect, there was some cute kisses and an impressive air guitar bit.
