"I love it when a plan comes together," is the signature line of Col. Hannibal Smith, the leader of "The A-Team," a colorful unit of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Now, principal casting has come together, for the big screen adaptation of the action-adventure. From left to right: Bradley Cooper as Templeton "Face" Peck, UFC light heavyweight Quinton "Rampage " Jackson as B.A. Baracas, Sharlto Copley as H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock and Liam Neeson as Col Hannibal Smith.

They always brought their "A" game, and now, they are back for a second shot. "The A-Team" TV series centered on a commando fighting force that lived as underground heroes in Los Angeles while on the run from a "crime they didn't commit" during the Vietnam War. The cartoonlike violence of the show and the cast's ability to create weapons out of almost anything were signature themes. The original show's characters included Col. John "Hannibal" Smith (George Peppard), Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck (Dirk Benedict), Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock (Dwight Schultz) and Sgt. B.A. "Bad Attitude" Baracus (Mr. T).

Born Laurence Tureaud, Mr. T "pitied the fool" who got in his way and for good reason. Mr. T played Sgt. B.A. ("Bad Attitude") Baracus on the "A-Team," the mohawk- and-gold-chain-wearing mechanic who could make a weapon out of just about anything. B.A.'s prized possession was his black-and-red Chevrolet van, which carried the team's weapons. After the "A-Team," Mr. T. went on to star on a show called "T. and T." for two seasons, playing a former boxer who joined with a public defender to solve crimes. Nowadays, you can see him starring in Flavorwave oven commercials, still rocking his signature mohawk and chains.

Smooth-talking Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck (Dirk Benedict) was another member of the original A-Team. The ultimate conman, Face was able to get out of any situation unscathed. His nickname came from his handsome, clean-cut look. Benedict also played Lt. Starbuck in the television and movie series "Battlestar Gallatica." Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock, played by Dwight Schultz, was the A-Team's craft pilot. Murdock's nickname came from his time in a mental hospital, hence Howling Mad. After the "A-Team," Schultz starred as Lt. Reginald "Reg" Barclay in "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Star Trek: Voyager" and "Star Trek: First Contact." He now provides voice-overs for video games such as "Spider-Man: Web of Shadows," "FusionFall" and "Terminator Salvation: The Video Game."
