It's been almost 30 years since actor Harry Hamlin appeared as the heroic half-god, half-man Perseus in the 1981 film "Clash of the Titans." The remake of the film is set to be released April 5, 2010. When asked about his thoughts on the remake, Hamlin told the Los Angeles Times, "My initial thoughts were, 'Wow, that's weird.' The whole remake thing is an homage on a lot of levels. I've read that the director [Louis Leterrier] is a fan of the original. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so there you go." The remake of the film stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson (Zeus), Gemma Arterton (lo), Ralph Fiennes (Hades) and Pete Postlethwaite (Spyros). (newscom.com/©2009 Warner Bros.
