Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not the first couple to be nominated the same year for an Academy Award. Pitt is nominated in the best actor category for his role in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Jolie is in the running for best actress for her role in "Changeling." The two have been dating since their onscreen performance together in the 2005 film "Mr.& Mrs. Smith." Jolie won an Oscar in 2000 for her role in the film "Girl, Interrupted." Pitt has yet to win a coveted golden man, though he was nominated in 1996 for his role in "Twelve Monkeys."
