Helen Mirren has been nominated for an Oscar twice before for her performances in "Gosford Park" and "The Madness of King George." Now she is nominated for her role in "The Queen." Mirren has been picked by many as the front-runner to win for best actress. The Los Angeles Film Critics Association has already named the 61-year-old as its pick for the best actress prize.
