"Get Smart" is the latest TV hit to get adapted to the big-screen. The trick with a TV remake like "Get Smart" is that "there are generations that have never seen the show," according to producer Andrew Lazar. "It's all about nabbing those reruns on Nick at Night. We were conscious of casting for that very reason. We wanted stars who had a core audience, and we cast with that in mind. Anne Hathaway was coming off of 'The Devil Wears Prada,' so she brings in a specific group. Dwayne Johnson brings in a particular segment, and Steve Carrell has his own appeal.
