Marvel Comics decided to go ahead make a "Hulk" update despite the 2003 Ang Lee version, which flopped at the box office. "The Incredble Hulk," a $150 million remake of the 1980s show, banked $55.4 million in its first week box office. Still, star Edward Norton -- who has yet to sign on for two proposed sequels -- seemed to be distancing himself from the project after an argument with producers over the final cut of the film. Still, "like so many people I've loved the story of The Hulk since I was a kid, so it was thrilling when Marvel asked me to write and help produce an altogether new screen incarnation, as well as play Bruce Banner," Norton told Entertainment Weekly.
