— -- Amanda Seyfried and her boyfriend, "The Newsroom" actor Thomas Sadoski, are taking their big love to the next level.

The couple is engaged, a rep for the actress confirms to ABC News.

Seyfried, 30, and Sadoski, 40, reportedly met in 2015 while working together on the off-Broadway play "The Way We Get By." They reportedly began a relationship earlier this year while both were filming the movie "The Last Word."

This will be the first marriage for Seyfried and the second for Sadoski, who split from his wife of eight years, Kimberly Hope, in 2015.

Seyfried was romantically linked in the past to Justin Long and "Mamma Mia!" co-star Dominic Cooper.

Seyfried's credits include the TV series "Big Love" and the films "Mean Girls," "Les Misérables" and "Ted 2."
