Angelina Jolie Stars As Mistress of All Evil In the 'Maleficent' Trailer

March 18, 2014 -- Angelina Jolie wasn't joking when she promised that her take on Maleficent would be scary.
In a new trailer for the upcoming film, Jolie, 38, sports an all-black ensemble and huge wings, which are so big that she reportedly had to do strength-building exercises to carry them.

In the Disney film, which is set to be released in May, Jolie plays the Mistress of All Evil, while her daughter, Vivienne, 5, appears as a young Princess Aurora.
"We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That's not our goal for Brad [Pitt] and I, at all," Jolie told Entertainment Weekly. "But the other 3- and 4-year-old [actors] wouldn't come near me. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."
