Avril Lavigne Gets 17-Carat Anniversary Gift From Chad Kroeger
The ring is bigger than her finger!
— -- Well, Chad Kroeger sure knows how to celebrate a wedding anniversary.
The Nickelback frontman got his wife Avril Lavigne a ridiculous 17-carat ring to celebrate the couple's first year together as man and wife.
"I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift. 17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby," Lavigne tweeted alongside a picture with her wearing the HUGE rock.

Lavigne and Kroeger married last July 1 in the south of France in front of a small group of loved ones. The wedding took place at Chateau de Napoule, a medieval castle near Cannes and Lavigne wore a black tulle Monique Lhuillier gown.
This is Kroeger’s first marriage and the second for Lavigne, who was married to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2009.
