— -- Last night, "Bachelorette" JoJo Fletcher eliminated Chad Johnson for threatening the other men on the show.

Alex Woytkiw, one of the contestants who stood up to Johnson in last night's episode of the ABC series, told reporters this morning that Johnson wasn't really as scary as he seemed.

Comparing Johnson to a "chihuahua," Woytkiw explained that he simply "likes to bark."

"I’m not concerned for myself or any other guy in the house," he said. "He never did anything physical because wasn’t going to do anything physical. He just liked to threaten people."

Others were a bit more worried, and as a precautionary measure, "Bachelorette" producers brought in a security guard to monitor Johnson. Woytkiw noted that some of the men who had to bunk with Johnson were concerned about what he might do when they were sleeping, especially given the violent nature of the threats he'd been making.

"So the show, I think they saw that happening and they made a proactive measure to say, 'Hey, we've got your guys' backs,'" Woytkiw said. "I commend them for it."

After he accused his co-star of being "two-faced," Woytkiw said that believes that Johnson came on the show for a reason other than to find love. But when asked if he thought Johnson was acting and trying to fill a "villain" role on the show, he said no.

"I think Chad was 100 percent being himself," he said. "He's just kind of a bad guy."

Johnson has said repeatedly that he was misunderstood.
