Bill Cosby arrives Dec. 30, 2015 at the courthouse in Elkins Park, Pa., to face charges of aggravated indecent assault.

Bill Cosby has filed to have the indecent assault charge filed against him in Pennsylvania dismissed.

His attorneys claimed in a statement that they were "illegally, improperly and unethically" brought by District Attorney Kevin Steele and his office.

Last month, the 78-year-old comedian was arraigned on a charge of alleged aggravated indecent assault, stemming from a 2005 claim.

Cosby's legal team has repeatedly denied the allegations against him.
