Cameron Diaz Says 'No One Compares' to Husband Benji Madden

— -- Cameron Diaz is head-over-heels for her husband Benji Madden, and wants everyone to know it.
In a interview with Andy Cohen for his Sirius XM Radio show that will air on Friday at 8 a.m. ET, Diaz couldn't stop gushing about her husband.
"Nothing matters now that I have my husband," Diaz said. "Like that's the thing, that's how I know he's my husband because no one compares."
Diaz and Madden, a guitarist for the band Good Charlotte, wed in January of 2015 in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home. The "Bad Teacher" actress explained that the age-old saying "you just know when you know," about finding your perfect match never made sense to her until she met her musician husband.
"I was always like, 'What does that mean … what does that mean,'" Diaz said. "Then I was like 'Oh, I get it, you just know when you know, like you're my husband.'"
Diaz, 43, was introduced to Madden, 37, at a barbecue by her friends Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, who is Benji's twin brother.
"Joel said, 'Hey, can my brother come over?'" Diaz recalled. "And I said, 'Of course, it's family, we're having a barbecue' and then [Benji] walked in the door and I was like … you! You!"
Diaz explained that her relationship with Madden has completely changed her life and whenever she's with her husband, everything else becomes trivial and just "washes and slips away."
"You realize like, 'Oh right, this is what the real thing is, this is what real love is and this is what commitment and devotion is,'" Diaz said. "This is the person that you build your life with, and for me, it's like the rest of everything else just kind of like dissolves."
