Cameron Diaz Happily Single at 40

Oct. 4, 2012— -- intro: At 40, Cameron Diaz has no regrets about being single.

For one thing, marriage "just wasn't the thing I was drawn to," she tells the November issue of UK's Esquire, which she covers. "I certainly didn't want it in my 20s. Or my 30s. So we'll see."

Diaz is not ruling out having children one day either.

"There's still a possibility of that, I ain't that old," she tells the magazine. "Believe it or not, I'm feeling very ... capable."

The super-fit actress who turned 40 in August looks capable too. Flaunting her toned body in sexy lingerie for the magazine, she tells Esquire, "As far as the physicality of it -- I feel better at 40 than I did at 25."

Some of Hollywood's longtime single ladies, like Halle Berry and Jennifer Aniston, are now engaged to be married. But Diaz is in no rush.

"For me, it's about living in this moment, the best that I can," she tells Esquire. "Contentment is about coming to terms with life as it is."

"For the first time in my life I'm content," she says.
