— -- If you haven't seen "Captain America: Civil War" just yet, you probably should not read this. It's OK, we won't be offended.

SPOILERS BELOW!

LAST CHANCE

At the end of "Civil War," things are left very much up in the air.

Captain America and Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, have just gone at it over the fate of the Winter Soldier, and they don't part as friends.

Cap being Cap, he still sends Tony a note and a cell phone, basically saying he'll always be around if he needs him. But Stark just found out some crazy news, so a rekindling isn't going to happen all that quickly.

In the middle of the credits, we see Cap and Bucky, aka the Winter Soldier. Cap's best friend has made a brave choice: Until his brainwashing can be fixed, he will go back into Cryosleep.

What's interesting is Bucky is going under in Wakanda, and The Black Panther, T'Challa, is helping them. This makes sense since Wakanda, the Panther's home, is one of the most technologically advanced nations in the world.

T'Challa offers to protect Bucky, who is still wanted by the law and some of the Avengers. Cap mentions that others might come for him, but a confident T'Challa fires back with "Let them try" as the camera pans and you see the glorious Black Panther statue in the background.

This could very well be a tie into the 2018 film "Black Panther," directed by Ryan Coogler, whom you know from "Creed."

According to IMDb, the synopsis of "Black Panther" is, "T'Challa, prince of Wakanda, must rise to take the mantle of the Black Panther after his father, the king, is treacherously killed."

So, it looks like Bucky will be heavily featured given this clip and given the events that took place in "Civil War." Maybe two years from now, Cap's best friend will finally get the redemption he's been looking for.

We also know that the first time we saw Wakanda in "Age of Ultron," we met Andy Serkis' Ulysses Klaw, who should make another appearance in this follow-up film. That would be a unique, but compelling triangle of Bucky and Panther taking on Klaw and his army of mercenaries.
