— -- Low youth voter turnout is always a concern in elections, but patriotic stars are trying to change that by appealing to their social media-savvy fans to boost poll numbers.

The "most dedicated voter of the year" award may go to rapper Lil' Jon who said that his absentee ballot never arrived so he flew across the country to get to his home state of Georgia so he could vote in person. His enthusiasm comes as little surprise since he starred in a Rock the Vote PSA based around his song "Turn Out for What" with a bevy of other young stars.

Other politically active stars, like America Ferrera, Kerry Washington, and Taryn Manning all encouraged their followers to vote.

Fans of "The West Wing" also saw familiar faces, like that of now-"Scandal" star Joshua Malina and now-"Mom" star Allison Janney, whose tweets today showed that their political interests go beyond their roles on the White House-based show.

A number of stars like Rob Lowe, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson all shared their photos through HeadCount.org, with the hashtag #GoVote.
