— -- Ciara turned 30 over the weekend and celebrated in style with a star-studded surprise birthday celebration.

Ciara's boyfriend and professional football player Russell Wilson threw the superhero-themed surprise party, and was able to keep the celebration under wraps until the very last minute.

According to People magazine, Ciara believed she was going to a movie premiere.

"About Last Night," Ciara captioned a photo of herself on Instagram. "I Had @Cesar4Styles Taking Pictures Per Our Usual Plan Before A Red Carpet... Little Did I Know What I Was Really Getting Ready For!"

Instead, the "Goodies" singer was taken to the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, where Wilson was waiting for her in a Batman costume, and standing next to the Batmobile from the upcoming film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Ciara was given a Catwoman outfit to match Wilson's Batman costume, and the power couple arrived to the birthday bash, which was held at the Batman exhibit on the lot, in the Batmobile.

Ciara was greeted by 100 of her closet family and friends, who yelled "surprise!" as the singer and Wilson pulled up to the party.

The singer said she was especially excited about one guest at the party, her 17-month-old son from a previous relationship, Future Zahir Wilburn.

Wilburn was dressed up in a toddler's Superman costume, and the "1,2 Step" singer couldn't contain her excitement about her "little Superman."

There were many celebrities in attendance, including Lily Collins, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams and Beyoncé, who all dressed to theme in their superhero best.

Beyoncé dressed up as Storm from the "X-Men" series, complete with colored contacts and the character's signature white hair.

Collins dressed up as Supergirl, and posted a photo on her Instagram page of her and Ciara smiling as they embraced one another.

"Happy birthday to the most beautiful cat woman I know," Collins captioned the photo. "I adore your positive spirit, empowering soul and stunning heart. Loved celebrating the Super Hero you."

Friends and family who couldn't make the party in person were able to share their well wishes by satellite, including stars such as Missy Elliot, Jennifer Hudson, Joe Jonas, Ludacris and Michael Strahan.
