'A Deadly Adoption' Trailer With Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig Debuts
The comedians will co-star in the drama, "A Deadly Adoption."
— -- It's been teased for some time that Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig were going to team up for a Lifetime TV movie.
Now, there's a trailer for the film.
"Inspired by a true story, 'A Deadly Adoption' is a high-stakes dramatic thriller about a successful couple (Ferrell and Wiig) who house and care for a pregnant woman (Jessica Lowndes, "90210") during the final months of her pregnancy with the hopes of adopting her unborn child," reads a description of the film on Lifetime's website.
In the first look at "A Deadly Adoption," Ferrell is seen standing in the middle of the road while a car, driven by Lowndes, comes barreling toward him. Another scene shows Wiig holding a gun.
The movie, which will premiere on June 20, is being co-executive produced by Ferrell and his longtime collaborator, director Adam McKay.
