— -- The gray carpet was rolled out Sunday in Hollywood for the sixth season premiere of HBO hit show "Game of Thrones."

The big question on most fans' minds: "Is Jon Snow alive?"

HBO said in a recent press release that he's not, and the actor who played him, Kit Harington, was absent from the premiere. That disappointed actress Amanda Peet, who's married to "Game of Thrones" co-creator David Benioff.

"It just felt like it was a good sign if he was going to be here," Peet told ABC News. "He's not here, so I'm trying to keep it together."

Though Snow may be missing, Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, said there's a lot to look forward to.

"There's big surprises in episode one, I s*** you not," he revealed.

Whatever surprises may be in store for fans in the season premiere and beyond, Dean-Charles Chapman, who plays Tommen Baratheon, has already spilled the beans to someone very close to him.

"The only person that does know, other than me, is my mom. Don't tell HBO, because I'll be sacked," he joked.

And what about the Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen?

"We left her in a tight spot but she's kind of a bada** so you never need to really worry," she said.

The new season begins April 24.
