— -- These "Good Morning Tennessee" anchors from ABC affiliate WATE got an extra jolt of energy this morning--but it wasn’t from caffeine.

“Our meteorologist was wrapping up our weather and something flew by my head and I threw my arm up, and I thought it was a big bug,” Knoxville anchor Bo Williams told ABC News. “And I looked at her and she just had this look on her face.”

A bat had somehow made its way onto their set, dive bombing the shocked anchors which, needless to say, definitely got their blood flowing.

“We’re all jumping around, like woo!,” Williams quips in the hilarious video making its rounds on the Internet.

The station isn’t sure how the bat got into the building, but they did call animal control, which was eventually able to capture and contain the spooky surprise.

“The coffees and coca-colas just sat by the wayside today,” said Williams. “We were officially wired when that thing started dive bombing us.”

The pesky bat “would come and go and fly around and disappear for a moment and then come right back,” he added. “Oh my gosh, we put up with it for about 30 minutes.”

No word on whether the bat plans to make a special return appearance around Halloween.
