— -- "Good Morning America" rolled out the red carpet for an epic live after-party to celebrate the 88th Academy Awards. Singer/actress Hailee Steinfeld and DNCE performed Steinfeld's new single, “Rock Bottom," and explained how they ended up working together.

"We love Hailee. She's a good friend of ours and she's an incredible artist and we are happy to be part of the song," DNCE front man Joe Jonas said this morning.

Steinfeld, 19, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2010 for her portrayal of Mattie Ross in “True Grit,” said it was incredible to be honored by The Academy.

"It's so crazy. I never thought it would come full circle in this way," Steinfeld said.

Steinfeld's debut single, "Love Myself," is now certified platinum.

DNCE –- with Jonas, bassist/keyboardist Cole Whittle, guitarist JinJoo and drummer Jack Lawless -- will join Selena Gomez’s “Revival” tour this summer. The group's song, "Cake By The Ocean," is a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
