Heidi Klum is known as Hollywood's Queen of Halloween, thanks to the extravagant parties she throws every year. And even though the event's big moment was the reveal of Klum and now ex-husband Seal's coordinated costumes, the couple's split won't stop the party.
Klum's hot ticket party will be at New York City's Finale nightclub this year. The Oct. 31 party will mark the grand-opening of the new 6,000-square-foot club.
The club will be decorated with a spooky Halloween theme and feature a sunken dance floor, raised perimeter seating and a light show, according to the party planners. DJ Questlove of band The Roots will be in charge of the music.
The German supermodel and business mogul has been hosting elaborate Halloween events for 13 years. The eclectic guest list mixes Victoria's Secret models with "Project Runway" contestants and celebrities such as Fergie and John Legend.
Klum's costume last year was a hand-painted bodysuit that mimicked what her body might look like if the skin were peeled off, complete with detailed illustrations of each muscle. Two men in bloody lab coats rolled her onto the red carpet on a gurney. She was covered by a white sheet, which they removed for the big reveal.
Klum, 39, is famously tight-lipped about her Halloween costume leading up to the big day. As the day grows nearer, she has been known to tweet teasing photos of costume preparations.
On Oct. 4, Klum tweeted, "4 weeks until Halloween! Here's a look back at some of my favorite costumes from years past!"
She attached a collage of photos of past Halloween costumes including her dressed as Betty Boop, a chimpanzee, the Hindu goddess Kali and the apple from the Garden of Eden, complete with a giant green snake wrapped around her. None of the photos included husband Seal.
Klum and Seal split in January after nine years together. They are parents to Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.
No word yet on whether Klum's bodyguard and current beau, Martin Kristen, will accompany her to the bash this year.
