Henry Cavill Teases a New Look for Superman
Cavill returns as Superman in "Justice League," due out November 2017.
— -- Henry Cavill will apparently be a Superman in black when the actor reprises the DC superhero on the big screen.
The "Man of Steel" star shared on Instagram on Monday a close-up photo of what looks like a black costume for the "Last Son of Krypton." The caption simply reads, "#Superman."
Presumably, the picture is a tease for Cavill's role in "Justice League," due out in November 2017.
It would represent a resurrection for his character, who -- spoiler alert! -- died in this year's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," following a battle with Doomsday. However, the film ended by strongly hinting that he would come back to life.
In the comics, Superman returned in a black costume after he was killed in a clash with Doomsday in 1993.
