— -- Good news "Honey Boo Boo" fans: After splitting last year, stars Mama June and Sugar Bear are back together.

The reality TV star matriarch, whose real name is June Shannon, told ABC News the two split after Sugar Bear's infidelity. "I just sat down with him and said, 'Look, you need to decide what you want," she said, referring to Mike Thompson.

Thompson's cheating and anger, Shannon said, was what led them to sign up for WE tv's "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," where couples from a variety of reality shows live in a home for several weeks to have intense therapy sessions led by relationship experts Jim and Elizabeth Carroll.

"[We signed up] to kind of get answers," she explained. "I know that Sugar Bear was cheating so I joined the show to get answers and also to get personal help for myself. If Jim and Elizabeth couldn't do it then no one could do it."

And though Shannon said the boot camp helped their 11-year off-and-on relationship, she still doesn't want to get married to Thompson, or to anyone else.

"The m-word scares me," she admitted. "I wouldn't marry anybody. I don't care if anyone offered me a billion dollars."

Shannon explained she's scared of marriage because she's never seen one successful. "A lot of my family members have been through several marriages and it didn't work out. And growing up and seeing that, I don't want to be that statistic."

Still, the family that America fell in love with on the now-cancelled reality TV series, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," is doing "really good" despite the hiccups, Shannon said.

"The girls are in public school still. Jessica started college. Next week we'll have another grand baby [thanks to Anna] and Kaitlyn will have a new sister," she said.

As for Honey Boo Boo, or Alana Thompson, herself, she handled the split well, Shannon revealed.

"It wasn't really hard on Alana because we've been really, really open with Alana, and all the girls. We were really open ... because that's the way I felt the way we need to be," she explained. "The kids need to be in the know because the relationship, it affects your entire household."

Now that she and Sugar Bear are back on track, Mama June revealed they're eyeing to get back on the small screen. Their hit show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," was canceled by TLC in October 2014 after a report detailed that Mama June was in a relationship with a man previously convicted of molesting her eldest daughter, Anna. Mama June has repeatedly denied the report that she was in a relationship with Mark McDaniel.

"We've got some stuff in the works," she revealed. "This isn't the last time we'll see you on reality TV."
