— -- You might know Iggy Azalea from the song “Fancy,” one of the big hits of the year.

The rapper is known also for her platinum blonde hair and signature facial moles, but she alleges that those moles were digitally removed in a photo that promoted her appearance on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend.

The 24-year-old Australian aired her feelings on Instagram, writing: “I loved the promo pictures but I wish they hadn't photoshopped all my moles off my face (hey, I like those things!!)"

Merle Ginsberg, senior style writer for The Hollywood Reporter, reacted to Azalea’s statement.

“It's almost like she wanted to head off the masses before they blamed it on her. So before they said ‘Iggy took all her moles off her face,’ she got to say ‘no! SNL took them off. I like them’, which was a brave, funny thing to do, I think,” Ginsberg said.

“Saturday Night Live” isn’t commenting on Azalea’s claim.

Celebrities are often accused of photoshopping their own bodies, but many cry foul when others digitally alter their appearance to change things the stars like about themselves.

Hollywood A-listers including Lena Dunham and Kate Winslet have spoken about having been digitally downsized on magazine covers, and Cindy Crawford, the legendary supermodel, said she initially faced backlash over her now-iconic facial mole.
